Data Management Expertise
Role Overview- Becoming an integral part of the team responsible for data governance, you'll focus on bringing data under governance with the Enterprise Data Management framework.
You will implement data policy and standards for metadata, data quality, data lineage, technical controls, and remediation of data quality issues. To achieve this goal, you'll work closely with business units, enterprise technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and execute a comprehensive data management strategy.
Key responsibilities include building expertise on data consumed and produced to support data analysis related to data quality, monitoring and supporting data quality triggers, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and reporting. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Management policy requirements and standards for data and data systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development in a professional environment is required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent is mandatory, along with hands-on expertise in application design, software development, and automated testing.
- Highly experienced in database concepts and ETL technology.
- Proficient in cloud data management skills.
- Proficient in data management and data governance concepts (metadata, lineage, data quality, access controls, retention, and deletion principles).
In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for someone with strong PL/SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning, experience in Java, PySpark, Apache Flink, and other open-source data processing platforms, as well as demonstrated ability to analyze high-volume data and testing across data assets, using various tools as needed.
