Key Role: AEM Architect

Description

We seek an exceptional AEM Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Adobe Experience Manager solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of AEM and core web technologies, as well as expertise in handling large-scale implementations. They will be responsible for architecting innovative solutions, mentoring teams, and ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Responsibilities
  1. Create and enhance enterprise-level architecture for diverse environments, including multi-site, multi-channel, and multi-lingual delivery
  2. Serve as an AEM subject matter expert, defining end-to-end architecture for web platforms, providing technology leadership, and influencing strategic thinking
  3. Support and mentor application teams to ensure optimal integration and functionality
  4. Architect and support design of digital consumer experiences using Adobe's AEM suite, including WCM, DAM, and Social Collaboration
  5. Provide support to design features like multi-site/channel delivery, personalization, content aggregation, multilingual support, automated workflow, and social media integration
  6. Engage with clients to define complete specifications for content and collaboration solutions, and present architectural decisions to stakeholders
  7. Apply advanced understanding of AEM and integrate other Adobe solutions such as Analytics and Campaign for enhanced decision-making
  8. Guide and provide architectural guardrails to support the development of OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components, AEM Mobile, and Forms applications, as well as AEM DAM focusing on maximizing AEM capabilities and reducing maintenance costs
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to content management systems
  10. Analyze process issues related to content management system to guide organization to adopt best practices
  11. Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and appropriate use of design patterns
Requirements
  • 15+ years in the IT industry, with 10+ years in the Adobe ecosystem
  • 5+ years architecting solutions specifically for the Adobe Experience Platform
  • Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager and a solid understanding of core web technologies (XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful services)
  • Strong grasp of Day CQ/AEM foundational concepts (Apache Sling, Apache Felix) and AEM development and deployment processes
  • Experience in handling multiple large-scale AEM implementations (AEM 6.x or later)
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Commerce
  • Experience with Campaign, Marketo Engage, Target, or equivalent technologies is highly desirable
