Job Overview:

The Head of Purchase and Contracts will oversee the procurement process for high-end real estate projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic procurement plans to source world-class materials and finishes.
  • Identify and partner with premium suppliers and global brands to meet project requirements.
  • Manage budgets and timelines in coordination with project teams.

Procurement Strategy & Planning

  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure optimal cost without compromising quality or exclusivity.

Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

Contracts Management

  • Draft and review contracts with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor contract execution and resolve disputes.

Cost Control & Value Engineering

  • Implement value engineering exercises to reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and price fluctuations.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a team of procurement professionals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align procurement schedules with project milestones.

Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks.

Project & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Cultivate strong relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; MBA preferred.

15+ years of experience in procurement and contracts, with at least 7 years in leadership roles within luxury real estate.

Proven track record in sourcing premium international materials and finishes.

Strong legal and commercial acumen in contract management.

Excellent negotiation, vendor relationship, and stakeholder management skills.

Exposure to global procurement markets and luxury design trends.
