We are seeking a seasoned expert in Software Asset Management to oversee the inventory and tracking of open-source software. This mid-management role involves ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing usage.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing software licensing and SAM IT networks, applications, and infrastructure
  • Project management execution and delivery of client engagements
  • Fostering strong networks with key service line champions in the industry and reviewing licensing metrics for complex IT environments
  • Client-oriented professional services mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized university
  • Mastery of software licensing for at least three big publishers like Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, SAP etc
  • Robust SAM experience and ability to handle software audits independently
  • SAM tool knowledge (Service Now preferable) and ELP creation/license compliance position, contract management

This role requires:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional Big 4 experience and training
  • 5 to 7 years of SAM or postgraduate degree or higher
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in IT or project management/service delivery, operational/software asset management or consulting
  • Legal awareness: basic knowledge of software licensing agreements and compliance standards
