Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) professional to oversee software asset management with a focus on open-source components, ensuring compliance, and optimizing usage.

This mid-management role involves:

  • Managing software licensing and SAM IT networks, applications, and infrastructure
  • Project Management Execution and delivery of client engagements
  • Leading and coaching more junior members in client-facing delivery teams
  • Fostering strong networks with key service line champions
  • Reviewing and applying licensing metrics to complex IT environments

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting data, analyzing problems, and formulating solutions
  • Understanding and applying open-source licenses and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring software license compliance and terms
  • Overseeing the inventory and tracking of open-source software
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate/Post Graduate degree from a recognized University
  • Robust SAM experience
  • The ability to handle Software Audits independently
  • SAM Tool Knowledge (Service Now preferable), ELP Creation/License Compliance Position, Contract Management

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Big 4 experience and training
  • 5-7 years of SAM or Post graduate degree or higher
