About this Role
We're looking for a result-driven Insurance Business Development Manager to drive our health insurance agency business across multiple locations. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity of agents and driving significant business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Become an expert in building and growing the health insurance agency business across assigned territories.
- Develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and train insurance agents for successful activation.
- Coach agents to improve their performance, customer engagement, and overall success.
- Implement best practices across all locations to ensure consistency and excellence.
Achieving Business Results
- Meet or exceed revenue, premium, and profitability targets for your region.
- Drive renewal business to meet defined goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic insights based on local market dynamics to inform business plans and decisions.
- Design and implement location-specific business development strategies to drive growth and expansion.
Building Strong Relationships
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and support functions.
- Create a motivating and engaging environment for agents to thrive in.
- Monitor agent performance and provide ongoing coaching through regular reviews and feedback sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital tools is essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team management skills are necessary for success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4 years of experience in insurance, sales, or agency management is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of consistently achieving business targets is essential.
