Project Coordinator Needed for Construction Team

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of projects from initiation to completion.

Job Description
  • Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed project schedules and work plans.
    • Coordinate project team meetings and maintain project documentation.
  • Cost Estimation:
    • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, freight, and other related expenses.
    • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with vendors, sales teams, and other project stakeholders to refine and adjust estimates as needed.
  • Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
    • Assist in the procurement process, including soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
    • Oversee to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and financial documents.
    • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimating techniques. They should also possess excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the construction industry.
