Chief Information Security Officer

A seasoned security professional with 4-9 years of experience in identifying, evaluating and reporting on information security risks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cyber risk management, cyber intelligence and real-time analysis of immediate threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cybersecurity: Strengthening the cybersecurity framework to ensure robust protection against emerging threats.
  • Compliance: Adhering to the latest regulatory requirements and ensuring that our security measures align with industry standards.
  • Security Audits: Conducting regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
  • Threat Detection: Analyzing data leakage detections and implementing proactive measures to prevent potential breaches.
  • Penetration Testing: Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to strengthen our security posture.
  • Leadership: Collaborating with the CISO to develop and implement strategic security initiatives, leading the Security Operations Centre team and providing guidance on security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with preferred certifications like CISA, CISM, ISO27001 or CEH.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills, executive-level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, critical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working in a similar role or with relevant industry knowledge.
  • Additional certifications or training in cybersecurity, data analytics or project management.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
