We are looking for a senior engineering leader to oversee the development and delivery of our cybersecurity platform.

About the Role
  • Technical Strategy & Execution: Define and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with company goals, owning end-to-end execution and laying the foundation for product and culture.
  • Team Building & Development: Hire, mentor, and grow talented engineers who share your passion for innovation and excellence, building a lean high-performing team.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet customer needs, driving design, development, and delivery of secure scalable software products.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own and execute the engineering roadmap in alignment with company goals. You'll be responsible for defining and prioritizing engineering initiatives that align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing technical strategies and roadmaps
  • Building and leading high-performing engineering teams
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects
  • Making technical decisions on architecture, tools, and platform design

You will work closely with founders, product, and design teams to understand business needs and develop effective solutions. You'll also establish best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and architecture, implementing industry-leading processes and tools to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability.

SUCCESS IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS

  • Build and scale an initial engineering team of 5–7 engineers
  • Deliver the MVP release of Visiblaze IQ and set the roadmap for enterprise readiness
  • Establish secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and monitoring baselines
  • Define and document engineering best practices and architecture standards
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience
  • At least 4+ years hands-on development experience
  • At least 2–3 years in engineering management (team building, delivery)
  • Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent
  • Experience delivering SaaS products (cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance preferred)
