Business Intelligence Role Overview

A Data Analyst role involves collecting, analysing and interpreting data to inform business decisions and drive organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysts use statistical methods to collect and organise data, applying problem-solving skills.
  • Developing solutions to problems encountered in data collection, cleaning and statistical modelling.
  • Gathering data from multiple sources and preparing it for analysis.
  • Analysing large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Building predictive algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Validating findings using statistical techniques to ensure accuracy.
  • Creating clear visualisations and reports to communicate results.
  • Collaborating with different teams to apply data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role (SFIA level 3-4)
  • Proficiency in Python, C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertox and containerisation (Docker).
  • MLops scalability model development and excellent communication skills.
