About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the agro products industry, particularly in the Fruit and Vegetable sector.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and acquiring new business opportunities in the Fruit and Vegetable supply chain industry by offering our SAAS solutions. They will build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific business needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and acquire new business opportunities in the Fruit and Vegetable supply chain industry by offering our SAAS solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Market Penetration: Strategically drive market expansion by targeting new clients within the agro sector and growing our presence in existing markets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective business strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly monitor sales performance, KPIs, and client feedback to refine strategies and improve results.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a strong focus on agro products, particularly in the Fruit and Vegetable sector.
  • Prior experience in selling SAAS solutions is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A proven track record of driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding client portfolios in the agro products or food industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with key decision-makers.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and building long-term client relationships.
