
Area Business Development Director

The Area Business Development Director will spearhead the growth of our franchise network across various categories. This role demands a deep understanding of local markets, exceptional networking and sales skills to drive aggressive expansion targets.
This is a key position responsible for identifying high-potential cities for franchise expansion. The successful candidate will conduct on-ground research to map demand clusters, competition, and real estate feasibility.
- Market Identification & Strategy: Collaborate with Regional Managers to pinpoint cities with high growth potential. Conduct thorough market research to understand demand patterns, competitor activity, and real estate viability.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify top-tier franchise prospects across multiple categories. Develop a robust pipeline of partners aligned with our business criteria.
- Partner Engagement & Conversion: Drive end-to-end meetings and presentations with prospective partners. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our franchise models, highlighting clear return on investment (ROI) and business potential.
- Onboarding & Store Launch Support: Guide partners through the franchise agreement process, financial formalities, and store setup requirements. Coordinate with central teams for design, branding, training, and installation readiness.
- Performance & Reporting: Achieve monthly/quarterly franchise acquisition targets. Maintain accurate reports on lead funnel, partner status, and conversion ratios.
- Determine strategic locations for franchise expansion.
- Nurture relationships with potential franchisees.
- Convert leads into signed franchise agreements.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with regional managers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing (MBA preferred).
- 6-8 years of experience in business development, franchise acquisition, or channel sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business networks.
- Background in building materials, interiors, furniture, laminates, tiles, or related industries is beneficial.
