We are seeking an accomplished Oracle EPM Planning expert to join our organization. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of enterprise planning solutions across multiple domains.

As a Principal Engineer - Oracle EPBCS, you will be responsible for defining reusable patterns, influencing solution architecture, and mentoring peers. You will work collaboratively with finance leadership to align planning solutions with strategic initiatives, corporate reporting, and scenario modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EPBCS applications for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Create and manage driver-based models, calculation rules, and planning templates for various business cycles.
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to ensure that planning solutions meet their needs and support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle delivery of planning solutions, including requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, cutover, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Mentor junior engineers and senior engineers, review deliverables, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle EPM/Hyperion, with at least 7+ years in EPBCS/Planning Cloud.
  • Proven expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and long-range strategic planning.
  • Deep knowledge of driver-based planning, allocations, and calculation rules.
  • Strong experience in designing data forms, business rules, and Smart View templates.
  • Hands-on experience integrating EPBCS with ERP and EPM systems.
  • Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proven experience leading multi-phase planning implementations using SDLC methodology.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor global teams.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent understanding of finance planning cycles, including annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and monthly/quarterly forecast processes.
