Job Description:
As a corporate governance specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the legal compliance and integrity of our business operations.
Key responsibilities include leading corporate legal functions, advising management on legal rights and obligations, drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring legal compliance across all business processes, overseeing legal aspects of business transactions, coordinating with external counsel when necessary, managing company intellectual property portfolios, formulating internal policies to ensure legal compliance, and handling litigation and other legal disputes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record of leading corporate legal functions, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, M&A, and intellectual property. Strong experience in handling complex legal issues across multiple jurisdictions, especially in India and other global markets is required.
The successful applicant must be able to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical legal advice to business leaders. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
A strategic thinker with the ability to align legal solutions with business goals and objectives is required.
