Job Title: Data Catalog Specialist

We are seeking an experienced data catalog specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data assets, while also providing expertise on metadata management and data governance principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Metadata Ingestion
  • Data Lineage Stitching
  • Workflow Configuration and Customization

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metadata management and data governance principles, as well as hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with data stewards, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform
  • Strong understanding of metadata management and data governance principles
  • Ability to interpret and map technical metadata from ETL tools, BI platforms, and databases into Collibra
  • Familiarity with data lineage concepts, including horizontal lineage across systems

Prior experience working with the following data sources/tools is also highly desirable:

  • Teradata (BTEQ, MLOAD)
  • Tableau
  • QlikView
  • IBM DataStage
  • Informatica
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Collibra APIs or Connectors
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK)
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare)
