Job Title: Enterprise Identity Governance Specialist

The role of an Enterprise Identity Governance Specialist involves overseeing the implementation, development, and integration of identity management solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective management of user identities across the enterprise, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy identity governance solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IAM strategies and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Develop and configure connectors, workflows, rules, and policies for user provisioning, de-provisioning, access certification, and access request.
  • Integrate identity management solutions with enterprise applications, such as Active Directory, LDAP, databases, SaaS applications, and HR systems like Workday or Oracle HCM.
  • Implement Lifecycle Management (LCM), Access Certification Campaigns, Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Optimize and troubleshoot identity management configurations, workflows, and performance issues.
  • Support production deployments, upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior IAM engineers.
  • Ensure IAM processes align with security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), with 3–5 years hands-on expertise in identity governance solutions.
  • Strong development experience in Java, BeanShell, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Experience in configuring and customizing identity management modules.
  • Knowledge of IAM standards & protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM).
  • Experience integrating identity management solutions with enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, SoD, and Identity Governance principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
