Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead and evolve our automation and quality practices across microservices-based platforms.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on automation using JavaScript/TypeScript. They will be responsible for driving end-to-end QA strategy, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and designers, and implementing shift-left and shift-right testing best practices.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as a strong understanding of API testing, BDD/TDD, and working with distributed systems. Familiarity with SQL, Git, Jira, and CI tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-to-end QA strategy, including test automation and exploratory testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers
  • Implement shift-left and shift-right testing best practices
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable feedback
  • Coach teams on quality, testability, and resilience
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in software testing; 3+ years in automation with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong experience in API testing, BDD/TDD, and working with distributed systems
  • Familiarity with SQL, Git, Jira, and CI tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
