Job Summary:

As a seasoned tax leader, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to oversee the delivery of high-quality tax services.

Responsibilities will include managing tax teams, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of U.S. tax laws, leadership capabilities, and experience in managing complex tax returns and advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client & Engagement Management:
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for corporations (1120, 1120S) and partnerships (1065)
  • Manage client engagements from planning to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality
  • Identify tax planning opportunities, advise clients on tax strategies, and proactively communicate tax-related updates
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients and maintain strong relationships
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement feedback to improve service delivery
  • Team Leadership & People Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals including seniors, staff, and preparers across locations
  • Provide technical guidance and training on U.S. tax matters
  • Review team deliverables and ensure high standards of quality and compliance
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of tax staff
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous learning and growth
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and deliver constructive feedback
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive U.S. tax experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong expertise in U.S. tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Experience with international forms (5471, 8865, 8858, etc.) is a plus
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and project management skills
  • Proficient in U.S. tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, or similar
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with U.S. CPA firms or within global delivery centers/offshore models
  • Exposure to U.S. tax technology tools (CCH, Ultratax, XCM, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 740 is a plus
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing and state and local tax (SALT) issues
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and advisory projects

Work Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time
  • Shift timing 3PM to 12AM
