Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Professional to join our team. The role involves preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns, supervising junior staff, and serving as a technical resource on tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual tax returns and related schedules
  • Review and interpret client-provided financial documents such as W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, brokerage statements, and foreign income reports
  • Assist in international tax filings including FBAR (FinCEN 114), Form 8938, Form 1116, and Form 2555 where applicable
  • Manage a team of tax preparers, providing training, guidance, and review of their work
  • Coordinate with client teams regarding tax return status, issues, and queries
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with IRS regulations and internal standards
  • Maintain updated and accurate tax workpapers and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA/EA certification is a plus)
  • 5-8 years of experience in tax preparation and review
  • In-depth knowledge of individual income tax laws and filing requirements
  • Proficiency with tax software and workflow management tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
