Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Monitoring and Optimization Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing application performance to ensure seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Set up and configure performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace to provide real-time insights into application performance.
    • Develop synthetic monitoring strategies to simulate user interactions and identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis:
    • Analyze complex user issues through root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of performance problems.
    • Develop long-term fixes for recurring issues to prevent future occurrences.
  • Alert Management and Integration:
    • Define and fine-tune alerts using performance monitoring tools to notify stakeholders of potential issues.
    • Integrate performance monitoring data with incident management tooling to streamline issue resolution.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficient in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
    • Ability to analyze and optimize application code for error handling and alerting.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Experience working with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Effective liaison between application and platform teams.
