Business Intelligence Role Overview
  • Responsibilities include analyzing data, developing inventory allocation strategies, and implementing merchandise assortment plans to enhance financial performance.
  • Analyze store category sales, plan tools, and design strategies to increase financial performance for all merchandise.
  • Conduct analysis to derive suggestions for planogram, product life cycle, and inventory allocation strategies in a retail setting.
  • Prepare and upload Planograms for new stores, renovations, or amendments in coordination with regional headquarters.
  • Plan inventory up-stocking and assortment mix according to seasonal changes.
  • Forecast demand and sales on a monthly basis, review by analyzing data, and suggest rectifications in physical inventory.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop supply strategies that minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turnovers.
  • Publish product life cycles in advance to avoid slow-moving stocks and ensure entry and exit plans are in place.
  • Ensure adherence to the process followed for placing orders, SCM processing, and confirm system fine-tuning.
