Junior Software Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Project Manager to lead the coordination of software development projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, technical knowledge, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Break down project requirements into clear development tasks with detailed descriptions and deadlines.
  • Assign and track tasks using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Proofhub.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly reviews to monitor progress against project objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze RFPs/tenders, estimate effort, and contribute to proposals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, delivery trackers, and QA coordination records.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and develop project templates for future use.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 35 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management roles.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical application.
  • Experience with multiple project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, and Proofhub.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create clear documentation.
  • Familiarity with software estimation techniques and project budgeting.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 / CMMI Level 3 frameworks with demonstrated understanding.
  • Experience in client interaction or vendor coordination with high level of professionalism.
  • Familiarity with RFP analysis and proposal creation with proven results.
