Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that materials and supplies reach the site on time and within budget.

As a key member of our supply chain team, your primary responsibility will be to procure site-level civil items locally while adhering to approved budget limits. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely material availability in accordance with the construction schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with vendors to negotiate prices and close work orders at the site level.
  • Issuing formal POs/terminations at the site level and working with local vendors to source necessary materials.
  • Managing multiple vendors/contractors to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Monitoring and reporting material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Good coordination and negotiation skills for vendor interaction.
  • B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Graduate with relevant SCM/procurement experience.
