Purchasing Specialist

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of fitness and nutrition products.

  • You will develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to meet the needs of our business, analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Your expertise in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers will be essential in securing the best possible deals.
  • You will maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that procurement processes are transparent and compliant.
  • Evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery timelines, and pricing will be key to identifying areas for improvement and optimizing our supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of 48 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the Fitness and Nutrition Products industry is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of suppliers and raw materials specific to nutrition products, supplements, and related packaging is essential.
