Salesforce Functional Specialist

Job Description:

A Salesforce functional specialist plays a vital role in understanding the core functionalities of standard Salesforce.com objects, setting up lead generation processes, and configuring marketing campaigns and relevant reports and dashboards.

They must have an excellent understanding of the sales lifecycle, sales framework, and work closely with sales and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.

A successful candidate should be a detail-oriented, energetic team player with multi-tasking capabilities, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with presentation and client/customer relation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in sessions with customers and other team members to understand business requirements and business processes.
  2. Document and analyze required information and data.
  3. Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations.
  4. Elicit functional requirements through various communication channels.
  5. Configure and customize Salesforce.com Sales and Service applications.
  6. Initiate, drive, and deliver effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams.
