Accounting Manager Position

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, including U.S. GAAP and experience with NetSuite or similar software packages.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and SOPs in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Owning reporting processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and roll-forwards.
  • Systems proficiency with NetSuite or comparable software packages.
  • Experience working with external and internal auditors.

Requirements:

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years' relevant operational accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with external and/or internal auditors.
  • Stability of employment relationships demonstrated by 1.5 to 2-years at each employer.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • A Plus would be public accounting experience and/or knowledge of corporate/business and income taxes.
