You will take full ownership of one of the largest and most critical Profit & Loss statements in the company, leading a team that develops and maintains relationships with ocean carrier partners across the globe. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, building, and pricing our Ocean & Air marketplace coverage, as well as executing global carrier strategies and developing regional trade carrier strategies.

This is not a maintenance role – it's a build-and-scale mandate where you'll be empowered to drive yields by leveraging the right carriers, routings, and consolidation strategies. You'll also have the opportunity to educate our teams on trade-specific market knowledge and idiosyncrasies, ensuring they're equipped to navigate complex trade landscapes.

The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of prior Ocean Freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier, or equivalent supply chain experience. A bias towards action, process, structure, and data-driven decision-making is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required, as is an obsession with client happiness. Ability to travel locally, nationally, and internationally is a must.
