Chief Information Security Officer - India

The Chief Information Security Officer will lead and drive the cybersecurity strategy for our organization in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to meet or exceed security targets in India.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and other decision-makers, to promote cybersecurity solutions.
  • Manage the entire security cycle, from threat identification and mitigation to incident response and post-incident activities, ensuring accurate forecasting and risk management using best-in-class tools.
  • Conduct market research to identify client needs, assess competitor activities, and align cybersecurity solutions with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present tailored cybersecurity solutions, demonstrating strong technical acumen to articulate complex solutions effectively.
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure alignment of security strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote cybersecurity solutions and generate leads.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3-5 years in cybersecurity sales or IT solution sales within India.

Strong technical acumen with an in-depth understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including Network Firewalls, SIEM, cloud security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, and emerging technologies like AI-driven threat detection and SASE and zero-trust frameworks.
