Job Title: Strategic Business Unit Head

The role of a Strategic Business Unit Head is crucial for the growth and development of an organization. This position requires strong leadership skills, financial management expertise, and business development acumen to drive revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Ownership & Strategic Growth

The Strategic Business Unit Head will be responsible for leading the unit with full P&L accountability, setting and executing a financial and strategic roadmap to deliver aggressive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term market leadership within 3–5 years.

  • Revenue Acceleration & Business Development

This involves driving top-line growth by developing and executing high-impact sales strategies, securing enterprise-level partnerships, and expanding the unit's market share in the cybersecurity sector.

  • Financial Performance & Profitability

The Strategic Business Unit Head will oversee all financial aspects of the SBU, ensuring budget discipline, margin optimization, and sustainable bottom-line performance.

  • Scalable Operations

This includes building and optimizing scalable processes, systems, and operational frameworks to support rapid growth, ensuring efficiency and alignment with financial objectives.

  • Leadership for Performance

The Strategic Business Unit Head will recruit, mentor, and lead a results-driven team with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring alignment to revenue and profitability targets.

  • Board & Stakeholder Alignment

This involves acting as the primary liaison with the Board, investors, and key external stakeholders, providing transparent financial and strategic updates to ensure alignment on growth and value-creation goals.

  • Market Growth & Positioning

The Strategic Business Unit Head will strengthen the SBU's competitive positioning in the cybersecurity industry by identifying new revenue streams, exploring growth markets, and driving innovation to enhance financial performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of proven leadership with full P&L accountability, profitability management, and business development success.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, ideally within SaaS or tech-driven businesses.
  • Track record of revenue growth through sales leadership, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational scaling in high-growth environments.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams with a strong commercial mindset.
