Mortgage Origination Leader

As a seasoned Mortgage Origination Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our mortgage origination process, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Your expertise in managing teams of loan originators will be crucial in meeting performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support loan originators to ensure they meet performance targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee the post-closing review process to guarantee all loans meet required standards and are compliant with RESPA/TRID guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to ensure seamless closings.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by assisting with the application process, overseeing mortgage loan closings, and completing post-closing requirements efficiently.
  • Ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to lender underwriting guidelines and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in mortgage origination, with a strong background in US Home Loan products.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines.
  • Management experience in human resources or as an operations manager is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good supervision, organization, and math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Sound judgment skills essential for making quick decisions within established policies and procedures.
