Public Relations Communications Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective PR campaigns and strategies to promote our brand and reputation.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to align our communications efforts and ensure consistency across all channels. Your strong written and verbal communication skills will enable you to craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other marketing materials that showcase our brand's story.

In addition to your creative skills, you will need to have excellent organizational and project management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Your attention to detail and ability to think critically will be essential in monitoring media coverage and preparing reports on our PR activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns and strategies to promote our brand and reputation
  • Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other marketing materials
  • Manage media outreach and coordination
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align communications efforts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or media relations
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Hootsuite)
  • Basic knowledge of content creation and graphic design tools
