Public Relations Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Public Relations Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Press Materials: Create high-quality press releases, media advisories, pitch notes, and other materials aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Build Media Relationships: Maintain media lists, send targeted invitations, conduct follow-ups with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, and engage in media rounds to secure placements.
  • Event Support: Assist with event planning and execution, including managing logistics, assembling media kits, and preparing post-event reports.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports, including work-in-progress updates, campaign metrics, and track the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Research & Intelligence: Conduct secondary research for press releases, business development pitches, and quarterly or annual plans, providing valuable insights.
  • Client Communication: Respond promptly to client communication, send meeting minutes within 24 hours, and provide regular updates and reports.
  • Media Opportunity Identification: Identify relevant media opportunities, including potential award platforms for client submissions, and track industry trends and key publications.
  • Content Creation: Organize, assemble, and distribute media kits for client meetings and events to ensure all materials are prepared professionally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in PR or a media-related role.
  • Experience working with Fashion/Lifestyle or Hospitality/F&B brands is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and online communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of media databases, influencers, and industry trends is a plus.
