Job Overview

The Senior Public Relations Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies to maintain a positive image of our clients in the media and public eye.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and media through daily liaison via telephone and email.
  • Manage and mitigate crisis situations while ensuring 100% client retention.
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate media coverage to track opportunities.
  • Plan and execute publicity strategies, create quarterly roadmaps, and write press releases, articles and features to targeted media outlets.
  • Promote news stories and features, produce presentations, in-house magazines, brochures, reports and promotional materials.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage press conferences, events, exhibitions, tours and visits. Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms. Coordinate studio or location photography and engage in public speaking at interviews, conferences and presentations.
  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and third-party stakeholders on behalf of the organization. Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps aligned with client business goals. Leverage partnerships, sponsorships and advertising opportunities. Collaborate with marketing teams to create cross-channel strategies.
  • Establish relationships with industry leaders to enhance awareness and stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencer activities. Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries. Commission and undertake market research. Research new business proposals and present to potential clients. Analyse industry trends affecting clients and recommend effective communication strategies.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to think and act like a leader.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, media and marketing teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex situations.
  • Knowledge of PR strategies, media monitoring and campaign management.
  • Experience in event management, brand development and influencer engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organisational goals.
