Process Improvement Lead

Job Title: Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

To drive process improvement across the organization by applying industry-leading methodologies and innovative thinking.

• To collaborate with key stakeholders and Center of Excellence to build a culture of continuous improvement, enabling ongoing manufacturing transformation through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.
• To support better value and efficiency through elimination of unnecessary complexity in business processes and identification of more effective ways of working.
• To assist in developing and implementing a 'best-in-class' continuous improvement strategy.
• To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• To implement standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
• To work with team members and departments to develop new support materials based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
• To monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions.
• To evaluate business impact and project objectives/dependencies, report, and manage at all times.
• To set up programs, deliver coaching, and run projects across plants.
• To complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and improvements for future projects.
• To improve efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.
• To implement lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
• To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
• To support plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.
• To support Operation in policy deployment design, development, and implementation within the business. Cascading KPIs and KRAs at all business levels.
• To conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
• To ensure ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
• To coach and facilitate teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• To manage cross-functional team members effectively.
• To possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with diverse groups.

• A good honors degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• An excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma, Lean, and value stream mapping.
• Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, interpreting business needs, and translating them into operational requirements.
• The ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service improvement/workshops with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• End-to-End Coordinator taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery with robust metrics.
• Experience in designing or implementing a continuous improvement framework.
• Hands-on experience in implementing continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
