Job Title: Internal Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal control process reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Undertake projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation.
  • Assess risks across all functional areas and develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Support operational and financial audits by assisting in preparation, liaising with auditors, and responding to deficiencies.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Control Specialist to join our team. As an Internal Control Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing internal controls to ensure timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions. You will also facilitate completion of mandatory reporting requirements and review adherence to relevant standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control roles, with at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to perform process audits and month-end reviews independently.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Indian Accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with team members and executive stakeholders.
  • Highly adaptable with ability to work well under ambiguity.
  • Strong work ethic with ability to take on additional responsibility and drive results.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and focus on achieving results.
