The role of Head Commercial (Base Metals) involves leading trade commercials, developing risk mitigation strategies, devising business strategies to achieve a leading position in the Indian base metal industry, building and nurturing a team of professionals, and shaping organizational infrastructure for phased growth.
- Key requirements include thorough understanding of the Base Metals value chain, commercial understanding of trade, strong network of customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, proficiency in hedging mechanisms across MCX, LME, and other platforms, team management experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate should have min. 20 years of experience in the base metals industry with a Bachelor's degree or min. 10 years of experience in the base metals industry post Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
