Senior Plumbing and Firefighting Systems Specialist

As a seasoned professional in the field of plumbing and firefighting systems, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing innovative solutions for commercial office buildings and campuses.

• This position is responsible for leading the design management of all PHE Systems for new and refurbishment projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
• You will be working on plumbing & Firefighting System designs for Commercial Office Buildings and campuses, with expertise in High side and Low side design.
• Your responsibilities will include the design and execution of rainwater harvesting systems, storm water management systems at building and campus level, as well as Sewage Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants, Fire Hydrant systems, Fire Sprinkler system, Fire Tender Roads, and Fire Pump Room.
• You will review and optimize designs, BOQs, and specifications for all works, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards such as National Building Code 2016, ECBC, USGBC LEED, and other applicable guidelines.
• Technical and Commercial evaluation of vendor proposals and preparation of comparisons and recommendations will be a key aspect of this role.
• You will manage the complete life cycle of projects from design to commissioning independently, identifying opportunities for retrofits/improvements in line with organization's set standards.
• Overseeing operations quality and driving Operations Excellence will also be a priority.
• Driving innovation and incorporation of latest technologies to produce world-class buildings and campuses is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Management: Lead the design team in developing innovative solutions for plumbing and firefighting systems.
• System Design: Develop detailed designs for plumbing & Firefighting Systems, including High side and Low side designs.
• Rainwater Harvesting: Design and execute rainwater harvesting systems, storm water management systems, and related infrastructure.
• Treatment Plants: Design and execute Sewage Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants, and related systems.
• Fire Safety: Design and execute Fire Hydrant systems, Fire Sprinkler system, Fire Tender Roads, and Fire Pump Room.
• Optimization: Review and optimize designs, BOQs, and specifications for all works.
• Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate vendor proposals and prepare comparisons and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Plumbing, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting systems design and management.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems, including design principles, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
