About the Role:

  • The Technical Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of our systems and applications.
  • This includes identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.

Job Description

The Technical Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring system logs and alerts to identify potential issues;
  • Investigating and resolving system errors and crashes;
  • Implementing changes to improve system performance and reliability;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues;
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Very good knowledge of observability systems (e.g. Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana);
  • Good knowledge of modern observability practices (e.g. SRE, SLI/SLO, Synthetic, APM, RUM);
  • Good knowledge in script development (e.g. Python, Shell, PowerShell);
  • Common knowledge of CI/CD tools like gitlab, gitlab runner, jenkins;
  • Understanding of ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks & tools;
  • Experience with Service Now ticketing system;
  • Experience in Agile framework and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
  • Good written and spoken English.
