About the Role\
In this pivotal position, we seek an accomplished culinary leader to spearhead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.\
The primary responsibility of the Lead Culinary Professional is to maintain an efficient operation by constantly analyzing quality and cost of food production. This involves overseeing daily food tastings, monitoring production and preparation levels, and ensuring adherence to menus, recipes, methods, and operational specifics. \

- Maintain set standards and monitor time management.\
- Provide ongoing training and ensure that corporate standards are followed.\
- Ensure safe, quality food products and complete guest satisfaction.\
- Develop and comply with organizational systems, procedures, rules, objectives, and timescales.\
- Work within a technical/specialized area of expertise to improve service and product quality.\
- Adopt an accommodating and helpful manner.\
- Accept objectives set by others and work within agreed parameters.\
- Mentor, counsel, coach, and support subordinates to boost morale and personal esteem.\
- Maintain high crew morale and treat all team members fairly and with a positive atmosphere.\
- Ensure full adherence to menus, recipes, methods, and operational specifics.\
- Seek direction and authority from others when appropriate.\
- Achieve set goals in a non-assertive and efficient manner.\
- Conduct daily food tastings.\
- Correct discrepancies immediately.\
- Monitor and assist Section Heads to prepare daily electronic food requisitions.\
- Monitor production and preparation levels using the Culinary Checklist.\
- Maintain and ensure Public Health regulations are followed at all times.
### Qualifications:\

- Advanced culinary skills, leadership, and experience.\
- Minimum 8 years in the profession (Quality Hotels and Restaurants).\
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role in a luxury hospitality establishment or upscale cruise line.\
- Fluent in written and spoken English.\
- Communicate effectively with senior management.\
- Possess ability to lead and make decisions.\
- Good administrative skills.\
- Experienced in coaching subordinates.\
- Must be cost and quality conscious.\
- Flexible with scheduled work hours.\
- Work with international team members.\
- Perform duties under pressure.
