Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Java (8 or above).

  • Design and develop robust, fault-tolerant solutions capable of handling high throughput.
  • Work with distributed systems, caching strategies, data modeling, and performance tuning to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and guide junior team members to ensure consistent code quality.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and lead initiatives around system design and refactoring to improve overall system architecture.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
  • Experience with scalable architectures, microservices, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous processing.
  • Solid understanding of system design, distributed computing, and concurrency.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, Git workflows, testing, and Agile.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or relevant technical blogs.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
