Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Accounting and Finance division as a Director, responsible for driving Global Business Development, Financial Strategy, and providing overall leadership in finance-related functions.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in financial planning, business analysis, and successful business development within the consulting industry.

This pivotal role requires a leader to expand our Accounting and Finance division, contribute to the firm's global business development, and shape the financial strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Business Development:
  • Lead and drive global business development initiatives, focusing on expanding service lines and optimizing costs.
  • Act as a key contributor to the growth strategy, with an emphasis on achieving ambitious business growth targets.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans and budgets.
  • Provide leadership in project evaluation, establish new business verticals, and drive expansion efforts.
  • Ensure alignment of accounting systems with corporate objectives at all organizational levels.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions:
  • Manage and oversee successful acquisitions, vetting various proposals.
  • Contribute to the structuring and execution of M&A activities.
  • Statutory Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Strengthen statutory compliances, including taxation, due diligence, and secretarial compliances.
  • Analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Revenue Growth and Cost Management:
  • Drive revenue growth and EBIDTA improvement through business restructuring, cost reduction, and revenue optimization measures.
  • Implement internal control disciplines to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial reports.
  • International Market Leadership:
  • Act as a key leader for the Indian market, reporting to APAC Business Development Head and country MD.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in India for inbound business opportunities from other countries.
  • Client Onboarding and Satisfaction:
  • Structure the onboarding process for clients, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and processes, enhancing working capital efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field; LLB and Company Secretary qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development, financial strategy, and leadership roles.
  • Proven success in leading a team and achieving significant business growth.
