The Middleware Administration role involves overseeing and maintaining our middleware applications, including WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, and leveraging AWS Cloud services and DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting middleware applications, including install, configure, and manage WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat servers.
  • Monitoring the performance of middleware platforms and performing upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including managing AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.
  • Developing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for middleware applications, with a working knowledge of Docker and Terraform scripting.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Shell and Python, with automation experience and database knowledge/experience.
