Project Coordinator Job Summary

Our organization seeks a highly experienced Project Coordinator to join our team specializing in retail interior projects. As a key member of the project management team, you will play a critical role in overseeing project execution from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fittings, with the ability to understand and interpret CAD drawings.

  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, including design, procurement, installation, and handover.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets and timelines.
  • Interpret and review CAD drawings, layouts, and design plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and feasibility for implementation.
  • Monitor the quality of materials, finishes, and installations, ensuring that all work complies with specifications and meets client expectations.
  • Source and manage suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Identify potential risks during project execution and implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and issues, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing client concerns, providing regular updates, and managing expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience, specifically in the retail interior design and fit-out sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and ability to understand and review technical drawings and plans.
  • Experience with turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fittings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ability to manage client expectations, deliver high-quality results, and ensure client satisfaction.

Desired Skills/Qualities:

  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Understanding of building codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
