Role Summary

This is a strategic leadership position that oversees the financial functions of an organization. The Head of Financial Control will be responsible for leading the finance team and ensuring the integrity of financial statements.

  • Own the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
  • Oversee implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systems.
  • Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation.
Key Responsibilities:

As a leader in the finance function, you will be responsible for driving initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and ROI. You will also oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.

  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Ensure tax compliance (GST, TDS, income tax) and regulatory adherence.
  • Review and approve all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance controllership and compliance. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role, is required.

  • Proven experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industries.
  • Solid understanding of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, tax laws, and audit practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
