About Amber is a global student accommodation booking platform that helps over 80 million students find and book long-term housing near their universities.

As an Assistant Manager for Learning & Development, you will design and deliver impactful training programs for our sales and business development teams in the UK, Australia, and European regions. Your goal is to equip them with the skills and knowledge to exceed targets.

This role involves high visibility across the organization and collaboration closely with sales leadership to craft learning solutions that align with business goals and drive company growth.

  • Deliver High-Impact Training
  • Design dynamic, activity-driven sessions where learners acquire skills by doing, not just listening.
  • Create structured forums for peer-to-peer learning, practice, and growth.
  • Implement buddy systems for new hires to ensure a strong, supportive start.
  • Coach team members through hands-on training and on-the-job mentoring.
  • Lead interactive online training sessions on sales skills, product knowledge, communication, and closing, including refresher sessions to maintain sharp skills.
  • Build Smarter Content
  • Develop AI-driven content, assessments, and adaptive learning paths using Generative AI and Large Language Models.
  • Utilize AI to streamline design and personalize training experiences.
  • Craft engaging content, presentations, and instructional materials that are easy to digest.
  • Design clear, compelling decks that simplify complex ideas and keep learners engaged.
  • Own the Impact
  • Identify skill gaps and convert them into training opportunities.
  • Track training effectiveness and tie it back to performance results.
  • Take full ownership of delivery and outcomes, ensuring programs meet deadlines, visibility, and outcome expectations.
