Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to fill the role of Academic Director. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a passion for education and student success.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in one of the core subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, Political Science, History) and a Ph.D. preferred. They will also have at least 15 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a key educational leadership role. Prior experience as Principal in reputed colleges or schools is an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing academic strategies, leading the development of curriculum, and ensuring that students receive a high-quality education. They will also be responsible for maintaining student discipline, managing staff, and promoting a positive school culture.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement academic strategies to improve student outcomes
* Lead the development of curriculum to ensure alignment with national standards
* Ensure that students receive a high-quality education, including planning curriculum development for Integrated Programs aligned with common entrance exams
* Maintain student discipline, including suspending or expelling students on disciplinary or academic grounds in consultation with Management
* Manage staff, including teachers and departmental managers, to promote a positive school culture
* Collaborate with marketing and counselling teams to implement effective student recruitment strategies
* Develop and maintain partnerships with higher education institutions

Requirements

* Master's degree in one of the core subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce, Political Science, History)
