Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Control Manager to oversee our production planning and control functions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Forecasting:Develop detailed production forecasts based on customer orders, historical data, and market trends.
  • Production Scheduling:Create, monitor, and adjust the production schedule based on demand, raw material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
  • Resource Allocation:Coordinate the availability of manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production targets.
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP):Ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials required for production.
  • Capacity Planning:Analyze production capacity and recommend adjustments to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Production Control:
  • Process Monitoring:Track production progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Cost Control:Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues impacting production schedules, quality, or efficiency.
  • Production Reporting:Prepare and submit regular production performance reports.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Lean Manufacturing:Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Process Optimization:Continuously analyze and optimize production processes and equipment utilization.
  • Performance Monitoring:Track KPIs for production and work closely with other departments to improve them.
Requirements
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning and control.
  • Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills.
