Senior Product Development Manager for East Asia and India Region

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Product Development Manager to drive business growth across the East Asia and India region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing product lines for mechanical power transmission industry.

About the Role:

  • This role involves formulating and delivering product strategic plans with approved objectives, analyzing key results including sales, profitability, delivery, quality, and customer retention.
  • The successful candidate will also evaluate sales pipelines, analyze win-loss reasons, maintain knowledge of belt drive products and manufacturing processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A key aspect of this role is to develop industry specialists to enable transition to value selling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial markets, at least 5 years in mechanical power transmission industry, and minimum 3 years of experience in belt drive product application.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver strategic plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, market research skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
