Revenue Associate Position

The role of the Senior Revenue Associate is a critical position within our organization. The successful candidate will be a key member of the revenue recognition team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
This position requires strong technical skills, including a thorough understanding of ASC 606 and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Operations, General Ledger Accounting, IT, etc.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and have 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in revenue accounting. Public Accounting or professional services industry experience is highly preferred. A CA/CPA certification or pursuit thereof is advantageous.
- Conduct detailed reviews of contracts to ensure revenue recognition complies with relevant accounting standards
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts
- Assist with quarterly and annual external audits, preparing supporting documentation and responding to auditor requests
- Manage multiple internal relationships within the organization
- Perform various ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as required
