Software Architect Position

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications. They will lead day-to-day application development and maintenance activities of the team, provide UAT and PROD support for the application, and contribute to overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in developing secure, scalable, multi-threaded applications in Java and Spring
• Ability to resolve complex design-related problems and technical issues across applications
• Experience using Agile Methodology
• Advanced knowledge of Software engineering concepts and methodologies
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong relationship and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools and support multiple concurrent activities to interface with external and internal resources
• Good experience of working in fast-paced environment for project end-to-end implementation
• Experience in using continuous Integration tools - Bitbucket, Copilot, and Jenkins would be an added advantage
• Experience in Banking or Anti-Money Laundering will be an added advantage

Others

• The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as a techno-functional lead in Java J2EE
